I really enjoyed Newcastle and the friendly people. If like me jackpossible casino you are elderly walking back up from the Quay is pretty hard going . Recommend the Ouseburn Tunnels Tour and the river cruise from the Tyne Bridge to Tynemouth. Definitely split your time between the quayside (dubliner) and jesmond (sohe) if for a long weekend .,
